St. Louis County Suson Park

This week the Single Tree Family would like to share with you a very special park located in St. Louis County. Suson Animal Park is a large, beautiful place which has two good sized lakes for fishing, two barns full of a variety of cattle, horses, goats, pigs, chickens, turkeys, rabbits and more. You can visit the animals or fish, then take your children or grandchildren to play on their very cool playground.

Covered Pavilions

Suson Park also has several large covered pavilions which can be rented for birthdays, anniversaries, and any other larger gathering. There are also picnic areas that can be rented. You are also able to simply throw a blanket on the ground, or bring your own folding table for your picnic. 

We have used a pavilion for my mother’s celebration of life, as Suson is somewhere our family has been enjoying for many, many years. We most recently had our mother’s day celebration there.

Public Events 

In addition to the above, Suson hosts public events like an adult easter egg hunt, fishing tournaments, and a variety of conservation related classes and conventions.
